- The study sets out to investigate the prevalence of lipedema among female patients seeking treatment at a vein clinic for chronic leg pain.
- The authors highlight the underrecognition and misdiagnosis of lipedema, emphasizing the importance of understanding the frequency of lipedema cases among patients visiting vein clinics.
