MR Lymphography of Lipedema
- Today I’d like to tell you about a paper by a group of researchers in the US.
- The paper is called: Non-contrast MR Lymphography of lipedema of the lower extremities and was published in a peer-reviewed journal Magnetic Resonance Imaging in 2020.
- The aim of this study was to assess imaging findings and characteristics of the lymphatic system in patients affected by lipedema and lipo-lymphedema using Non-Contrast MR Lymphography.
- In conclusion, the authors suggest that Non-contrast MR Lymphography is a non-invasive technique that can provide useful information in patients with lipedema and lipo-lymphedema to aid in their diagnosis and to assess the health of the lymphatics.
