Comparing Cavitation Therapy and Liposuction for Lipedema Treatment
- In today’s episode, I’ll be discussing a fascinating study forwarded by one of our listeners.
- The research, conducted by a group from Egypt and published in the Bulletin of Faculty of Pharmacy at Cairo University in July 2013, is titled Vacuum-Cavitation Therapy Versus Liposuction on Lipoedema in Females.
- The study aims to compare the effectiveness of vacuum-cavitation therapy and liposuction in treating lipedema.
- Interestingly, the authors also reported a case of a male patient where cavitation therapy proved ineffective.
