PART TWO

PART ONE

In this time of uncertainty, there are many issues for everyone, and special issues for those of us with chronic disorders such as lipedema, lymphedema and other disorders. It's been a chaotic couple of weeks sorting out how best to navigate. My friend & colleague Monika, with her background in public health, knows about such things and she's coming to chat with us. If you have any questions, please join us!

This webinar features guest presenter, epidemiologist Monika Wahi, MPH, CPH, who will describe the thinking behind how to avoid getting infected, regardless of the scenario, and what to do if you actually do get sick (with COVID-19 or something else) during the self-isolation period.

Leslyn Keith, OTD, CLT-LANA will also present on general practices and nutrition through these times. Health maintenance during self-isolation, including obtaining food and dealing with exercise, will also be discussed.

The format of this webinar will be short presentations and then mostly Q & A, so most of our time will be devoted to answering your questions. What do you need to know to navigate this quickly changing setting with our chronic disorders?

The Lipedema Project has evolved from the early work of Lipedema Simplifed and has more extensive information about lipedema. Please visit http://lipedemaproject.org/ to learn more.
